Instyle - Women Of Style 2015 Red Carpet

A few weeks ago I found myself staring at the gorgeous outfits of the Instyle - Women of Style red carpet for this year. Here are my thoughts on it all.

Left to Right: April Rose Pengilly; Jessica Mauboy; Samara Weaving

I noticed that patterned fabrics were again a common occurrence (as you may have seen in my past red carpet posts). April Rose Pengilly, Jessica Mauboy and Samara Weaving each were my favourite patterned gowns. The gold detailing and lacework on Pengilly was simply gorgeous yet the intricate black and white of Weaving's dress, combined with the ruffles of the flowing skirt make it just as enticing.

Another trend to hit the red carpet was pants. We've seen this in the past with actress Emma Watson, but this year at the InStyle event, Kylie Gilles looked stunning.

Thigh high splits were also featured a few times. Here Jesinta Campbell looks absolutely stunning whilst in this red number. The crepe look of the fabric and the V line cut of the bust all tie in so well.

Left: Laura Dondovic     Right: Alyssa McCelland

In my previous Red Carpet post, two piece sets were a trend. Yet again we see the same trend here in Australia. Interestingly, both of Dondovic and McCelland have a similar set. A cropped blouse, with a high sitting skirt - both skirts and gathered at the top and a flowing skirt follows on.

The whole event, featured some amazing pieces of fashion. From the common sleek black gown, to two piece sets, feminine delicate dresses and gorgeous detailing. Below are a few more of my favourites from the night.

What was your favourite outfit from the Women Of Style red carpet?
